Question by Maria C: Boyfriend Problems?
My boyfriend left for alcohol rehab on Wednesday. When he left we said we were going to stay together. He started calling me, but only asking for his clothes and all his stuff. I took it to him and he quit calling me. I found out later he met a 22 year old girl in rehab and he is calling her, but her parents will no longer let him talk with her due to his age of 39. I was finally able to speak with him, so I confronted him about this and he said he was not attracted to the girl only was a friend he met in rehab. But, now he no longer wants to be with me he said, I do not want to be your boyfriend right now, but maybe in the future. I wonder if I should still keep supporting him, writing him letters and just wait to see if he changes his mind after I give him some space. I am a basket case right now. This is very confusing seeing how he said one thing one day and another thing another day. Someone please help with some good advice.
