The last 911 operator was a real pro. He did all the right things.
it happened to me when I was about 10. My dog saved my life. He use to be a mascot for a fire station and knew what to do. I know how the kid felt. I hope he is ok and they do skin graphs on him.
that poor boy i was in tears when i heard this …he looks like my boy and it made me think of what if it was my kid and i got emotional ..those goofs that did this to them need to get beat and burned back noone deserves that espically a harmless boy just tryiing to live his live

Why don’t we all just shut up and focus on the real point, the horrid fact that a 15 year old boy was burned, there is no reason to be fighting about the 911 lines, especially when something like this happens, at least the guy wasn’t the guy that hung up 3 times on a girl that needed an ambulance while her dad was on the kitchen floor having a seizure
@mpetty86 Wow…Just shut up…You don’t know anything about 911 dispatchers. Those are questions that need to be asked whether the man wants to ask them or not. And FYI, just because you’re screaming, that doesn’t mean you’re breathing easily. You every got the breath knocked out of you? It’s hard to breath, but you’re still able to suck in air now and then.
The flesh being burned is a horrid thing. It just keeps simmering and sizzling after its out. The skin peels off. Theres not alot they can do except wait for it to cool off. What a horrible thing to go through.

@ILuvGloomyBears They need that information to be prepared to treat him on arrival. EMTs often ask questions to shock victims to keep them awake or if there isn’t anyone else to provide information. The 911 operators have to calm down the people at the scene because the panic affects the injured person and they also need to be able to hear directions. I hope your never involved in an emergency situation.

Very bad Idea to go into a swiming pool when you’ve had full body burns, the cholrine woud be like having a skin graft, which is what nearly every burn victim will have to go through

@ILuvGloomyBears Yea, that seems kinda cruel but they are trying to get information so paramedics know what they need to do as soon as they get there. This is heartbreaking to listen to but they need that info as soon as possible to know if the scene is safe, what equipment they will need, how fast they need to get there etc. Also convictions often come from 911 calls in cases of abuse & stuff. Not this case but on the phone with 911 someone may say his father hit him or something incriminating.
