Question by whatdoiknow: Has anyone ever been on Carnival Ecstasy cruise ship?
How was it? We are thinking of cruising out of Galveston to Mexico. Did you like the ship? I have never been on a cruise and I’m afraid I will get bored. I also have a 2 year old. How were their kid services? Thanks.

Ive never been on that particular boat, but i have been on Carnivals cruise before, and had the best time. There will never be a time when you are bored. Unless you aren’t one to want to have a good time. There is always something going on.
They have great kids services, I don’t have kids, but i used to see the crew with kids all the time, they play games and such.. Im sure they have a good time..
I highly recommend going. You will never forget it, and have a great time. And cruises are addicting. So be ready to want to go on another cruise soon after you get off the boat. 
And I never got sea sick, and Im a wimp about things like that.

I havre cruised a couple of times, I think I may have been on this particular ship although off hand I can’t remember. I loved the carnival cruises, there is always a ton to do. WHen I went I didn’t have a child. I did see lots of little kids doing projects that were set up by the staff and they all looked like they were having a great time. My vote is yes, go and have fun!!
Get bored? no way…here is why:
casino, broadway shows, karoake, dance clubs, piano bar, shopping, spas, gym, massages, games shows like, newlyweds, name that tune, survivor, treasure hunts, ice carving shows, laying out by the pool while some one waits on you hand and foot…swimming pool with the twisting slide, hot tubs…
Childrens programs are fantastic…they are supervised…and they keep the kids busy with all the fun childrens stuff, they play games, treaure hunts, make crafts, they are wonderful…..

I spend 5 days on that boat but can’t remember much about it cause I was stoned and drunk the whole time.
