Question by m26tl: Has anyone heard about shooting cocaine into your eyes. I heard this is what kids are doing these days.?
I heard this from the kids in town. I am not sure if this is possible. I would like to know because if can i would like to inform other parents.

I hadn’t heard that this dangerous thing was still around in this day and age. Warn parents – it can damage the eyes. Plus it doesnt get the kid high.
I dont think you can but maybe sound really dangerouse . It your eye you will flench when something near it or gets in to it .
I haven’t heard of this, so I don’t know if it’s true. I really hope that no one would be dumb enough to actually put something like that in their eyes!!!
If anyone is doing this, I’d bet that:
1. It’s not as widespread as the media may want people to think
2. It doesn’t work. Why? Because cocaine prepared as an intravenous drug is not able to be absorbed through the body’s mucus membranes. Heck, even powder cocaine would do more harm than high, since the physiology around the nasal passage is uniquely different from that of the eye.
Don’t believe the hype. You probably don’t have to be worried, unless you have reason to believe that your child is already using cocaine and this rumor is popular in your geographic location.
For Heaven’s sake…
OF COURSE you can inject cocaine into your eyes. You can inject it anywhere the hell you like. Sherlock Homes was regularly portrayed as injecting it into his arms. Any way cocaine can enter the bloodstream – and thus head to the brain – works; the mucous membrane in the nose is merely the quickest (and least invasive) method.
The more directly the cocaine enters the bloodstream, of course, the more potent the effects will be, so make sure to dilute if using injections. Most street cocaine is sufficiently impure that this won’t really be a problem, however, but it’s worth knowing that the more direct the method of supply, the greater the chance of overdose.
To address your subsidiary question, there is no way in Hell the kids in your town are doing this thing. Juvenile thrill-seeking might prompt the occasional snort, but nobody injects stuff into their eyes just to see what happens.
never heard of it…..but regardless, if they are sharing needles to do this, they are sharing more than cocaine…they are sharing viruses!!!!
