Question by ~LiL~: HELP!!! I’m a binge eating teen girl who needs help!!!?
I’m a 14 year old teen girl, and cannot stop bing eating(as in every day after school). The problem is, my metabolism won’t keep up, and I am gaining wEight rapidly. I don’t eat because I’m hungry, I eat all the time, when I’m bored, tired, or just walk into the kitchen. Last year I lost about 15 pounds, (I weighed 135), but wihin the past year I gained back 20! So now I’m 155!
Luckily, I’m 5’10″ and I dance 10 hours a week and in winter I ski twice a week, so it’s doest make a huge differnce, but I can definately feel it when I drop a few pounds.
I just want to be healthy(no eating disorders or anything) and lose 10-20 pounds(I’ve been at that weight before and don’t look skinny, just not chubby). Plus, now that it’s swimsuit season I want to fit into my bikinis without having lovehandles hanging over the sides(ewww!)

get out of the house. when u finish school, get home, eat dinner, leave. go anywhere between ur front yard to the mall, just dont be around free ready to eat food. good luck!

I want you to not have an eating disorder either. The best way to do that is to like your body. You are at the right weight for your height and your active. If you want to maintain a steady weight keep active and instead of sugary snacks try eating fresh fruits between meals and lots of water. I went through every eating disorder there is. I wish I had enjoyed being a teenager instead of obsessing about weight. You can decide to make healthy choices. Stop eating when your full. That is like exercising the brain, training it to only eat enough to feel full-not stuffed. Be easy on yourself too, teenagers are still growing and your bodies are going through so many changes. You guys eat becaus eyour body needs the energy. Hust eat healthy and watch your portions. Learn this now at your age and you will never have to diet in your life. I mean it! Good luck girl, you can do this!
Keep Up The exersizing! You lose 2 pounds each week at that rate!
