he/she will have a white nose
if he/she is constanly sniffing as if they have a cold or are crying. loss of appetite. tendancy to do a lot. like clean. scratching of the arms. kinda reddish around the ring of his/her nose. losing track of time for hours. more prone to getting angry (more than usual)
There won’t necessarily be white powder visible on your kid’s nose. Cocaine is insufflated (snorted) by placing a straw fairly deeply into the nostril and then snorting, so it won’t necessarily be visible. Things you can watch out for:
runny nose, excessive sniffing
grinding teeth (could be furiously chewing on gum)
irritability
rapid speech
discussing or saying things he/she would not normally discuss or say
dilated pupils (not common in all people, so this may or may not be present)
agitated/repetitive movement (rapid tapping of foot, swaying back and forth)
staying awake for unusually long periods of time, then sleeping for unusually long periods of time
loss of appetite during the effects, followed by binge eating after the effects are slept off
disjointed thoughts (moving from one disconnected topic to another with no apparent segue)
paranoia, anxiety
Okay, that’s all I can think of off the top of my head. Remember, a lot of these things can be caused by other things, so just because your child exhibits a single one of these symptoms does not mean he/she is using coke. I’d only be worried if your kid is exhibiting a combination of several of these symptoms.
