Do not quit altogether or you will have some nasty withdrawl issues. Slowly wean yourself off of it. I suggest lowering your dossage each week until you are completely off. How many mgs are you currently taking per day?
I understand your pain and am so sorry you are hooked on it. I don’t think you can quit it quickly though. Real below and see the links I provided. One technique that’s been proven to work when quitting bad habits is the use of EFT (emotional freedom technique). You will overcome it. Be determined and keep going! Know that you are not alone. Hope this helps!
“Withdrawal from hydrocodone addiction typically lasts with twenty four to seventy hour symptoms before beginning to taper off. These symptoms include things such as irritability, nausea, vomiting, muscle aches, runny nose, sweating, diarrhea, fever, chills, inability to sleep and depression. Most experts say that the withdrawal is not life threatening in most cases, but of course much depends on the condition the addict is in physically. Many people do not want to go through withdrawal alone and seek out a hydrocodone addiction treatment center. It is one thing to detox from the drug, but it’s is quite another to get the right hydrocodone addiction treatment to keep from relapsing back into addiction again.”
