Question by Kelsy G: If Obama did cocaine why do people still think it’s bad?
Obama can do cocaine and look where he is now. He’s president of the United States. Why do people think cocaine is such a dangerous drug? It should be legalized, but because no American company is producing it, Americans say no to it. I think cocaine should be legalized just not for children. Cocaine is non-addictive and it’s naturally based. Support cocaine. Support our country. Support freedom!

I’m for drug legalization, but…
…cocaine is nonaddictive, what?
And it doesn’t matter whether something is “naturally based.” Nature is not necessarily your friend, and will gladly poison you or kill you dead dead dead.

Because people are not stupid and think for themselves. What a ridiculous load of nonsense..??? Cocaine is addictive. If Obama jumped of a bridge, that would be okay too I guess. Hmm.
Any drug that is being abused should be illegal to use for your safety!
Mis-informed, sicko, Obama voter, eh?
are you using it right now?
What planet are you from?
For one thing, if you bother to read his book you will see that this was something he is not at all proud of and a mistake he learned from as it has serious consequences. Cocaine is a dangerous drug, period. Marijuana on the other hand is no where near as addictive or dangerous.
Put it this way: Both Obama and GW Bush QUIT doing cocaine.
That’s where the point of the story is.
Grow up please.
lol
If you think she is serious just slap yourself.
lol WOW. number one cocain is addictive. they used it in coca cola for awhile then stopped it . i would assume you havent been using or ever had any to assume its not addictive.
Just when I thought I saw it all.
Star for you.
Wow.
Just about everything you said is wrong
Cocaine is made in the US too..is cheaper to have mules bring it in
but it comes in by the TONS~
it is highly addictive and it is a dangerous drug (as you well know)
Freedom does not mean the government is going to allow you to destroy yourself and someone else.
A lot of politicians have done Coke and probably still do but it is just as
wrong from them to do this as it is for you
I pray to God drugs like Cocaine and every Mary Jane is always illegal
Obama only wandered with drugs when he was a teenager, he wasn’t a heavy user and he definitely did not do it for very long. And, he QUIT.
He did cocaine? Now I’m going to do cocaine!
Cocaine is a hell of a drug – Rick James
You’re an idiot. He made a mistake. Clearly. Cocaine is addictive and has caused many deaths. If it is legalised it will cause many more. Why was it made illegal in the first place?
Cocaine is relatively easy to fatally overdose on compared to legal drugs and marijuana. I’d support marijuana legalization but I’m pretty on the fence about coke.
One string (supposedly) killed Len Bias – who was billed as good as Michael Jordan in the late 80′s. I’m sure there are a few more high profile ODs, but I’m a Celtics fan… that’s the one I always remember.
Simply because Obama did it doesn’t make it safe. I don’t think one who does coke is a bad person, or that they should necessarily be punished, but I don’t think its a good idea to make it freely available.
just the facts: anyone that has ever done cocaine or even knows anyone that has done cocaine knows it is HUGELY addictive.
and if Obama jumped off the Brooklyn bridge would you? (that’s what my grandma would say )
no, it’s not ok for the president of the U.S.A. to have done cocaine but i guess the majority of American’s decided the + outweighed the – when it came to our new President.
Well normally people who do drugs (non-habitually) tend to think outside the box and outside the norm and are very smart. They are bold and they consider the consequences and benefits. People who are don’t do drugs or are against drugs tend to be narrow-minded (thinking that foolish people that are careless do drugs) and they are too scared to be bold, and really “play it safe”.
We live in a new era and drugs are a part of culture. However, what makes us different that previous generations (like the ’80s drug days) is that we are smarter in our decisions and take in to consideration consequences, therefore, there are smarter recreational drug users that try it for a while then stop when they feel they had enough. I believe Barack was one of these people.
He is highly intelligent and the fact that he did do cocaine just adds more interests in his part by showing that he is human and is not afraid to be bold and try new things.
I’m a libertarian so i believe victimless crimes should be legalized (e.g. anything involving drugs), since it will be people’s own choice to do them and they will have to accept all consequences. One negative aspect is that people will sue the hell out of companies and the government for their own drug problems. Cocaine can be dangerous in high amounts and it has an acute addictive property. For example, when you run out, you feel like it is the end of the world and you do anything you can to get more of the drug, even crimes.
