Question by Snapple: Is it possible for someone to develop alcoholism after one session drinking?
If alcoholism runs in a family, like a parent, is it possible for the child to become an alcoholic after getting drunk only once? Does the same answer pertain even if the child is highly aware of the dangers of alcohol?
I know that it ordinarily takes a long time, and develops after abusing alcohol many times. It’s just good to check, though.
Yeah, but I’m asking if it is possible for someone to become an alcoholic after getting drunk once…just once.

Well, you kind of have to start somewhere. You’d have to drink to become alcoholic.
It depends on his/her impression after session drinking. If a person likes it, there is a possibility that he/she will become an alcoholic. Otherwise, if he/she dislikes probably he/she will not continue or just do this again but occasionally.
Just in case if he/she becomes alcoholic. Bring him right away to an alcohol rehab center for alcoholism treatment.
