Question by Dark~Hatred120043289473982567543: Is it true that if you drink wine at a young age that you probably won’t be a alcoholic when you’re older?
I drank a little of alcohol when I was like 5. And my health teacher said that if you drink it when you’re young that you most likely won’t be an alcoholic when you grow up. But my sisters say that I will be an alcoholic mostly because I like the smell of it.

I’ve never heard that.
I do believe that parents teaching children regarding alcohol reduces alcoholism. And part of that teaching woudl be drinking in a responsible manner over social engagements.

(I.E: no binge drinking, no drinking alone).

That could reduce alcholism. Is that what you’re asking about?

[Edit:]
Mostly my point is, no one should convince themselfs that they are or will be immune to alchoholism. There is no sure-fire prevention.
