ever since i got off ritalin as a child i been eating big portions of food but now i am eating the same and loosing weight while im on topamax cuz the doctor prescribed it too me how can i help myself ? get better from my eating disorder ?

lol I donno if this help but i use to have a big appetite but now that ive gotten braces im forced to eat slower. So maybe try chewing more before you swallow your food like 25 times or something… you’ll get full faster and eat less..

My aunt is a sponser for AA, (which is scary for me since she has a very narcissictic and controlling, abusive personality). She told me to try working the 12 steps to help me get over my rape and captivity as a child.
(I don’t drink BTW)
But I don’t see how deflating my ego and dwelling on all my faults is helpful in recovering from this?
I mean, I do that everyday anyways and its a pattern I’m trying to break, it just doesn’t make sense to me.

If you can see clearly that this is pointless for you…and I agree that it is, then you are one tiny step away from saying, I will no longer feel bad about this. I didn’t do anything wrong and what happened to me didn’t change the important parts of who I am.

And then never think about it again.

I was on Ecstasy friday night. my girl and I conceived on sunday night would the Ecstasy in my body have an effect on the baby. And Yes im sure that was the night we conceived so by having that in my system would it effect my unborn child.

My ex husband is in drug rehab and wants me to either bring the kids who are 5 and 8 up there

to see him or allow his mother to bring them. This is his 3rd stint in rehab that i am aware

of. The kids havent seen him since Christmas eve. I personally do not believe that is an

environment for them to be in. They dont know that he is an addict.

I drink almost everyday, and my father died from drinking. Is it a family thing, my sister drinks a lot too but my brothers don’t.

It depends on the family situation. If children see their parents drinking, they’re going to assume that it’s okay to drink. The parents must tell their children that it’s wrong. Or they could just not drink in front of the kids.

Im a teen and I consider myself prety bright. Of coarse, all the kids in High school like to make up these laws that dont exist. Some keep saying that if you get caught with ecstasy the drug, get charged with manslaughter. I know this cant be, can anyone shed some light, I know if no one is killed, you can’t be charges with man slaughter.
