Question by Stephanie B: Abused children becoming abusive parents?
I’m doing a causal argument paper on the possiblility and reasons that adults abused as children may become abuseive towards their own children later on, whether from alcoholism, emotional problems, or anger problems related to their childhood abuse. Can anyone help me find some web sources? I’m a little puzzled on where to look.

Well i dont know of any web sites, but i would say that there is a possibility that adults who were abused as children may become abusive towards their own children, but in the other hand Ive met many people who will NOT even touch their kid becuase they dont want their kid to go through the same thing that they went through, which could also become a problem, becasue if you dont disipline your kid then they could turn out bad. But i dont know of any web sites.

Good luck!!!
as an adult you will either repeat learned behavior or change it – so there is a 50/50 chance that someone that has been abused as a child will abuse their children.
