Question by Graham: Did You Ever Get the Feeling When You Were a Teen that You Would Grow Up to Become an Alcoholic?
I’m a teenager and I drink occasionally, but I keep thinking once I reach the legal drinking age, I’ll turn into a drunk. Now when I mean occasionally, I mean I’ll get drunk like once ever two weeks, which is pretty good compared to most kids my age. When you were a teenager, did you ever get this feeling? How did it work out for you? Thanks for the help.

i use to drink > im twelve when all my friends thought it was cool, but i always thougt i was going to be an alcoholic. like my mother. and i hate my mother, i never want to be anything remotly similiar to her. so i never had a sip of alcohal after the first 4 times i did it

Drinking gets less glamourized by your 21st birthday. When i was 13 i thought i would be an alcoholic. Now that I’m 20 I barely drink. The older you get, the more responsible you will become and the more responsibility you will have. By the time your are legal to drink hopefully you will have other things to do than drink all the time.
ill hav a drink every once ina while too. like at parties ill have jus two shots to get me goin but i kno how to control myself so i wont get drunk tho
