stop binging and start running…simple as that. Btw, eating french fries and taco bell bean burritos does not make you vegetarian so eat smart

Go on an all fruits and veggies diet for two weeks. Detox your body, so afterwards you’ll be able to handle real foods with a good attitude and just make better and healthier decisions.
When you done with that just eat a lot of lean protein:
bean, whey protein powder and
fish
Along with a bunch of fruits and vegetables diet, and only eat complex carbs, whole wheat breads and cereals, none of white bread or sugary cereals. And just cut down carbs overall.
Some good healthy snacks are:
non fat yogurt
skim milk
rice cake snacks
fruit
and special K cereal

It’s a really good website
You should try fasting for a month. Muslims do that for religious reasons,
but it cleanses your body and helps you lose weight! They eat as much
as they can when they wake up (sunrise) and then don’t eat or drink until
sunset, but since you’re probably not Muslim, I’d say eat a sub, then only drink water until sunset and then pig out!
I am also a vegetarian and I find myself eating a lot of junk food and carbs. I never exercise but I seem to maintain my weight at 130 lbs.
My tip for you is to make sure you eat 3 meals a day with a couple snacks.
If you are already overweight, then you will have to start exercising.
Go for a jog with your iPod or dog.
Find a way to make exercise seem fun instead of being a chore.
And you must absolutely have to stop binge eating.
It makes your diet out of control.
Also, you may want to consider calorie counting.
Write down the calories of everything you eat or drink and see how many calories you take in a day.
2000 is the average and there is a problem if you go over that.
But also try not to use a scale. It’s mostly discouraging and depressing.
People usually have a lot of water weight and that is why you have to sweat it out.
Also, muscle is heavier than fat so when you feel like you have lost weight, and see your numbers have gone up, you’ll be confused.
As a fellow vegetarian, I know your story too well. While many people lose weight when they stop eating meat, just as many gain it. This is because many “healthy” vegetarian foods contain a ton of butter, soy, and cheese. Many soy products cause your body to produce estrogen. While its fine in moderation, it can cause you to gain weight and can reek havoc on your endocrine system. Also, many vegetarians only eat carbs and leave out their namesake: veggies! I would recommend cutting down the amount of dairy products in your diet and increasing the amount of raw foods (vegetables, fruits, nuts, etc.). The key to losing weight is to make a lifestyle change, not a quick diet. Continue to eat the foods you love but in moderation. Don’t get weird about your diet! An easy way is to make rules for yourself like no munching after 7:30 pm, no snacks in your bedroom, etc. As for exercise, I physically can’t run due to deformities in the bones in my feet. This hasn’t stopped me! I’ve found other ways to work out through asking people at the gym what they use for low impact work. Good Luck!!
