How would anyone know that?
I don’t know who made up this question, but you could take a sample and project it. Ask 100 teens you know if they have been asked to try Cocaine this year. Then figure out how many teens there are in the world (or in the US if that is the project) and apply the percentage you found.
It’s not much worse than any other kind of polling!
What you don’t know how to do is estimate the error. Don’t worry about it.
