Question by joe s: is there a teen book where the characters parent is an alcoholic?
i find these kind of books interesting, and can relate it to my own life, ive read one before i cant remember what it was called, but if anyone could think of one, it would be greatly appreciated

“I Remember Mama” by Kathyrn Forbes. Papa is an alcoholic who eventually dies from the drink.

yeah there is a trilogy where this girls mom is an alcoholic… its called the Wake Trilogy by Lisa McMann, idk if thats what your looking for but thats the only one that pops into my head
Well, the only book I can think of is “A Child Called “It”", which is a sort of diary/autobiographic memories about the author himself when he was beaten up and abused when he was a small child, by his alcoholic mother, while she treated the rest of her children nicely and spoiled them. A very tragic true-life story. :.( I do not recommend it for very sensitive readers though! xxxx
