Foley started his political career as a democrat. which can explain the Foley issue the best, that A) maybe Foley joined the Reps and worked with them for a while to gain their trust and then sabotage them, or that B) once a democrat, always a democrat? molestation, messing around with kids, having sex with kids, alcoholism, drug addiction, single mothers, abortion for anyone who wants, hillary clinton, and nancy pelosi, etc. are just wonderful family values that until now, were mainly associated with democrats. could the Reps be learning about and picking up these policies of wisdom from the democrats? maybe the democrats are good teachers, who we can trust in public schools with their wonderful anti-white and anti-American textbooks?
Robert, the reason hillary “forgave” her husband was because if she didnt, she would lose money and political influence. she wouldnt be anywhere without her husband. classic case of gold-digging.

very poor. is that really the best you can do? don’t forget that although bush was president, 9/11 was clinton’s fault. and the reason bin-laden hasn’t been found isn’t because the US went after oil instead of terrorists but because democrats love terrorists.

Foley is only one of several congressmen that have started their careers in the DNC then moved to the GOP/ Ind parties…once a democrat, always a democrat…..
Southern democrats are repuglicans, it really don’t matter what they was, Foley is a perv.
The political affiliation of a person has nothing to do with the person’s personality!
Ok for those of you to stupid to figure out what that means it is like this…..I am an independent because I do not believe any party to date has found any answer that is adequate to any AMERICAN problem. Perhaps, when a party does, I will think about joining up. Unfortunately, like many intellectuals in this country I do not have the desire to become an automaton and follow the gospel of a group of self-serving, megalomaniacs. Political parties are, by nature, FLAWED! They are simply a way for one group to say they are different from another group. It seems in today’s America if you do not belong to one of the two power elite parties you are considered either a nobody or anti-American. Unfortunately, the two major parties have lost sight of what it means to be an American. The deterioration of the morals on Capital hill at ALL LEVELS has nothing to do with being a Democrat, Republican, Independent, Libertarian, or Communist. It has to do with the state of America’s value system as a whole. The social issues mentioned above have existed for centries in America and around the world. Child molestatioin and exploitation are not NEW to today’s America, they are more prevelant because of the advent of technology, namely the internet. The internet is an incredible way to share ones opinions and to share knowledge. It also has become an engine of perverts and sick individuals used to prey on others. It has created a wider opportunity for the predator to find prey.
As for alcoholism and drugs; only a fool would think this is a new thing in America and a bigger fool would think that politicians are immune to these issues. Please, being a politician is stressful and American’s do not deal with stress very well so we turn to self-medication. I do not see a connection between these two social diseases and political affiliation. If someone can give me some examples where these issues are different for politicians I would enjoy reading that. Single parents can be traced back to the colonial period BEFORE government in America and BEFORE political parties. I hate to believe that any person would be against single mothers (perhaps you meant unwed, teenage mothers as a problem?). Many single mothers are in the position they are in because of the FATHERS that are to darned LAZY to take responsiblity for anything.
I will spare you all my views on abortion because you just would not understand!
As for Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi….who are we to judge? They are but human beings and not without fault. None of us are without fault. If anything, Hillary is a strong woman who found it in her heart through her faith in God to FORGIVE her husband. Hrmmmm, and we argue about moral authority. Even the Amish Community, facing the horrors they have faced this week, have forgiven! Are they upset and angry….YOU BET! But they understand the strength of forgiveness and they understand that true judgement comes when one sits before the throne of God!
I would love to read any research this poster or anyone else can list that says these social ills are directly related to one party or the other. I would love to see an historical argument that shows a correlation between the listed social ills and the Democratic or Republican party!
This is what is pathetic…that we can not get past a NAME (Democrat or Republican) and figure out that we are ALL in this TOGETHER!
