Question by Bryan: What are the differences between marijuana, magic mushrooms and LSD?
All three are popular illegal drugs among youth and are very mild compared to harder drugs such as cocaine and heroin.
However, these three substances are all different compounds with different properties, so there must be differences between the three.
Please describe the differences in effects.

I have smoked weed i have eaten mushrooms but i have not tried lsd aka pcp aka acid
Marijuanna is a seed, there for it is a plant- natural
Mushrooms are grown in shit with a mixture of chemicals – unnatural man made

Have you been living in a basement all your life??? Marijuana produces thc the active compound that gets you high. Marijuana relaxes you and makes you travel through your thoughts and helps you find yourself. Marijuana can’t kill you no matter how much you smoke the worst thing it can do to you is give you mad munchies! Whilleee lsd is a phsycadelic typa drug which makes you trip out and hallucinate! My sister once did it and she told me she thought she was a cat so that pretty much explains it! And magic muchrooms are mushrooms that have to be grown really careful and only by a person that knows what there doing! Marijuana is a great and amazing plant plzz don’t ever compare it to those poison shrooms and that rhino tranquilizer!(:
They all have hallucinogenic properties, but all have their differences like every other drug. Marijuana is a plant and it’s main ingredient is THC, this is what causes the high. Marijuana highs are pretty chill and last a couple hours, basically you’re just really relaxed and happy, it’s usually smoked but can be cooked into foods and whatnot. Mushrooms and LSD are very similar, except for mushrooms are less potent and are a natural plant, whereas LSD is VERY potent and is a manmade chemical. The high they both produce is very hard to explain and is different for a lot of people, from my experience your senses are heightened and your high definately depends on your mood when you take them. Mushrooms are eaten, anyone saying you can smoke mushrooms know nothing about drugs, as the heat destroys the psilocybin before it enters your system. Acid can be taken in different ways, the most common method is oral (blotters) or drops. Hope this clarifies it a bit more for you!
*BTW – the person who said LSD aka PCP doesn’t know what drugs are obviously because they’re both completely different chemicals. LSD is lysergic acid diethylamide and PCP is phencyclidine, the 3 letter abbreviations are just shortened ways of describing their chemical names.
Marijuana makes the user feel contented, relaxed, and happy. Mushrooms cause the user to experience hallucinations and altered reality. LSD causes euphoria and hallucinations.

mushrooms (main compound – psilocybin) and Lysergic Acid Diethylamide are quite similar in effect. both change the way the brain interprets the stimulation of serotonin neurons in the brain. this causes hallucinations, euphoria/dysphoria, and profound change in perception of reality.
Marijuana (main compound – THC) acts as a cannabinoid (which you already have in your brain). smoking marijuana gives the same feeling that a very large influx of cannabinoids released in the brain would give. that feel is a roundabout euphoria, cloudiness of perception, loss in concentration and laughter.
