Question by Lisa: What is the diffence between snorting and injecting cocaine?
I hate drugs and i’m asking as my boyfriend has been injecting cocaine…… i have snorted cocaine in the stupidity of my youth and i am now anti drugs… what are the medical affects of injecting and the difference between the two… my boyfriend is going into private rehab next week but i would like to know what he is going though? and how i can maybe help him.

Freebasing is an instant high, like heroin, it goes directly into your bloodstream, he does have a serious problem. It is very dangerous. I wish him lots of luck.

Because the drug is injected directly into his circulatory system, the effects will be sooner and I believe longer lasting while if he snorted it would be the opposite.
for an addict shooting up is more economical because it takes less to get higher. however, it is more dangerous because it goes straight into the blood stream and the addiditives in the cocaine can cause an embolis.
