Question by Blue magiC: Would it be alright to do ecstasy at home with a friend?
People have told me that it is better and safer to do it at a concert/club/rave. But there aren’t any concerts I want to go to and I don’t feel like going to the club because I’m not 21 and I’m not going to a teen club. lol

Seriously, the only good place is a place where you wont trip to hard. Its almost like eating shrooms, you HAVE to be in a place where you feel comfortable..other wise your high could get extremely weird and not good. Drink water!! but NOT TO MUCH, don’t drown yourself. but don’t fry your brain.
So i would say yes to doing it at home.

umm how bout not doing it at all? you seem like a cool person why waste it on drugs?
While considerably safer than at a club or bar, doing ecstacy at home, or anywhere for that matter is extremely risky.
I don’t mean to sound like your mum or anything but the enjoyment simply isn’t worth the risks. Ecstacy can result in death from overheating as it interferes with the body’s ability to thermoregulate itself. The body temperature can soar to over 40 degree which can cause unpredictable and often medically-untreatable problems, including unstoppable bleeding, liver and kidney failure and ultimately death.
An inexperienced user of ecstacy will try to compensate for the heat increase by drinking a lot of water. When excessive amounts of water or fluid are consumed, the sodium balance of the body is disturbed and the organs swell. This is very dangerous for the brain, which cannot expand inside the skull. It becomes compressed, putting pressure on the brain stem which controls heart and breathing functions. This can lead to coma and death.
So I’m sorry to sound nagging, but there are much better ways to have a good night than to do Ecstacy.
wtf are with these people? there answers are ALL wrong
its safer to do it at your home, because you arnt tempted to drink alcohol, dance, or get overheated like you would at a bar/rave
ive done most of my ecstasy at friends houses, it is much better because it is quieter and more chillin
it is NOT safer to do it at concerts/clubs/raves – you are more prone to overheat and get dehydrated. That is how most people actually die from ecstasy, not from the drug itself, but from mixing it with alcohol and dehydrating
If you are a teen, I would recommend waiting a couple years. Pills are pretty powerful and it is wise to get your life on track before you start experimenting with these things.
But in saying that, it is defiantly a good idea to try it at home because it can be overwhelming, You will be really hot and thirsty, you might need to sit down/lie down, home is a better place. You can have a cold shower if you need it. Keep plenty of cold water on hand and iceblocks and gum. Put on a good cd and watch a kids movie (trust me on this, finding nemo is great for it) just chill and laugh with your friends.
The other things about pills is that they can give you an upset stomach and can make you vomit, so being a home is defiantly a plus. Don’t eat much before you try it, you will feel much better. Than later in the night have some tea and toast to keep you going.
