Traumatic brain injury, or TBI, is a serious public health problem that affects approximately 1.7 million Americans every year. Beyond the potential for impairment to the cognitive, sensory, and motor functions in an individual, the economic burden of TBI is in excess of .5 billion. He has worked with those living with HIV/AIDS since the beginning and he informs me that treating HIV is least costly of the major illnesses. To believe that treating HIV will cause us to lose our financial solvency is truly idiotic. You have a odd definition of compassion.
