Question by Guppy: Teens: Have you ever drank an alcoholic beverage? If not, do you plan on doing so when you’re a teen?
Even if you’re above or at the legal age, answer this if you will.
I honestly don’t see what’s so good about being drunk. I’ve already said to myself that I would never drink an alcoholic beverage. I don’t even like soda and I’m going to drink alcohol?
Now that I think about it..I have technically tasted alcohol.
When I was 3, 4, or 5 I would dip my fingers in my moms beverages, when they were in another room, since I was curious why they always drank them. I can barely recall the taste though.

I’ve tasted alcoholic beverages but I think they all taste disgusting. I have never gotten drunk before and I don’t plan on it.

Heeeeeeeey
I am 14 and I have not properly drank a alcoholic beverage but I have tried some of my mums and dads drinks and to be honest I find them disgusting.
Im 16.

First got drunk when i was 14 at a friends halloween party
I don’t drink too often, but overthe past two weeks i’ve drank quite a bit.
I only drink where i know I’m safe, like at mine or a friends house.
I like to drink because it makes me feel so much more chatty
I’m starting to get to know my limits with alcohol now and have stopped making myself sick. :L
I stick to things that dont taste very alcoholic like Breezers, Wkd, Smiroff and Malibu. But i love things like Cider and Jaegar-bombs.
My mum sometimes (once per 2/3 moths) lets me have like 1/4 of a small glass of Malibu, just for a taste because I like it or when I’m stressed. But I never drink otherwise, go behind her back or anything. It doesn’t do any harm since it’s not alot and it’s just like a ‘treat’ because I just love the taste!
The thing is, that these days people see alcohol only as something to get drunk. Oringinally alcohol was a sign of elegance and high class, the taste was exclusive. Today the only way in which alcohol is mostly used is to get pointlessly drunk.
Even if I’ll drink more when I’m older, I will keep my limits. Being slightly swingy and being pig-drunk has a difference.
The first time I drank alcohol I was 16, I got drunk, and I was with my parents. Talk about lame. The second time I was 19, I got drunk, and I was with my parents. Yes, even more embarrassing. I didn’t drink again until I was 21 and not with my parents. Most alcohol tastes bad. Being a little tipsy can be fun, but being a lot drunk just makes you feel nauseous, makes the world spin, and makes you act stupid.
I am 18, which where I live is the legal age to drink. I started drinking when I was 15 I think. Even before I turned 18 I hardly drank, because I like it but I feel it should be more of an occasional thing, not an everyday thing. I like some alcoholic beverages, some taste just like juice to be honest. I had a gin and lime the other day, it tasted just like lime juice. I also had this thing called a gummy bear, and you could not even taste the alcohol.
Basically, if you don’t want to drink, then don’t. If you do, then do. I like being drunk sometimes, but there are a lot of stuff you can do that is fun sober. Don’t judge others, just live life based off of what you enjoy.
Oh and by the way, soda and alcohol are a hundred percent different.
I have drunk an alcoholic beverage and I still do.
I’ve never had an alcoholic beverage.
I’m already 16, so I only have 5 more years until I can legally drink.
I don’t really want to drink, or at least I don’t have to drink in order to feel happy.
If you consider a sip a real drink then yes. Put other then that nope. Yes i will drink, but responsibly. No one else should have to pay for my mistakes.
I’m 15 and yes, I have tasted a bit before, but only a sip or two usually on special occassions. I don’t not drink as a rule, but it’s not something thats appealing to me as it’s unclassy, unhealthy, and doesn’t even taste nice! I have NEVER been drunk and I NEVER plan on being, and teens who get drunk to look cool are f*cking pathetic.
Being tipsy is fun but not being drunk,. I dont like beer but I like wine coolers like mikes hard lemonade, long island ice tea… stuff like that. I also like making mixed drinks my favorite are sea breezes which are vodka, cranberry juice, pineapple juice, and a slice of orange or pinaple. I am 17
i have drunk alcohol. and plan to continue doing so.
first drunk more than like a glass when i was 16, im now 17 soon to be 18 and legal.
i have only ever been sick once and now i know my limits so i would never drink that much again. i like feeling tipsy because i find everything funny and i have more confidence. . . i like it, but i dont feel i HAVE to drink to feel confident or because everyone else is.
no offence but if you have never been drunk, you won’t see what is good about it. drunk people look like idiots to sober people but theyre usually having a pretty good time unless theyre totally wasted (which i find stupid and irresponsible).
i’ve tasted it before (only on new years when i got a small sip of champagne, i liked the taste but i don’t plan on drinking while i’m a teen, only when i’m 21 and over!
I use to drink a lot when I was younger!
Basicly anything I could get my hands on!
But then relised that drinking makes you fat so I quit!
No, I have never drank. No, I do not ever plan to.
All alcohol does is wreck your body and brain, and cause trouble. It’s not worth it to me.
I’m legal age in Canada.
Have I had alcohol before? Yes.
Have I ever been drunk? No.
Have I ever been tipsy? No.
I probably only have a drink maybe once a month, if that, and I usually only have a quarter of it and then give it to my boyfriend (who has been legal age for years).
I hate the taste. I don’t know why I drink it. Maybe because I’ll eventually find something I like.
Will I ever get drunk off the thing that I like- probably not.
I have ingested alcohol, yes
No, I haven’t, and I probably never will. I don’t see the point in drinking.
I have drunk a lot of alcohol, but that doesn’t mean I get drunk a lot. I’ve had red wine, white wine, cognac, vodka (as sad as it is to say, vodka’s a part of my culture), Baileys, and a few cocktails like Sex on the Beach, Tequila Sunrise and Piña Colada.
In fact, I drank a glass of red wine yesterday because it was my uncle’s birthday.
