I need to write it as a drug prevention message to young children about Meth.

I think most kids have already been shown it all. Ie – drug addicts living on streets, rehabs, people shooting up, people being thrown in jail.
Really, the kids that are gonna do it, you can’t do anything to stop them. There’s a time when they think for themselves and will do what they want. You can’t keep telling them a bunch of crap about how bad meth is. If anything, you should just give them facts about the drugs. Unbiased, facts.

Fear is a potent motivator.
But it’s not the drug that you need to fear. A little white stuff. It’s not scary.
What’s scary are the people who introduce other people to drugs. It’s almost always someone else, another person or persons, who lure newcomers in. Those people come into your life like anybody else, become “cool” friends and then get you into their “exciting” life of partying with drugs. Maybe they’ll start you off with soft drugs and if you’re not careful, the hard drugs like meth with get you.
It’s those people you need to fear. The self-named cool people who party with drugs. They are the scariest ones, not the drug.
