Question by smart: what do you think about ecstasy?
at edc in california this year 120 people were hospitalized, one person reported dead so far, few others in critical condition. a 15 year old girl died from an over dose of ecstasy on saturday at ‘electric daisy carnival”. i feel so bad for that girls family, her mother was on the news talking about how she was planning her daughters 16 year birthday party and now she was planning her daughters funeral instead. this message is directed towards teens and anyone that thinks ecstasy is harmless… please think about how you would feel if anyone in your family died, and please think about how they would feel if you died, please dont hurt your family that way. drugs can kill you and your family will be the ones left with the pain. seriously guys please think before you act!

iuno. i really dont kno the chick but if her friends were lying to her parents, they just did it so they wouldnt get shitt from them for doin some illegal shiit. security’s fault for not asking for her id, it was a 16+ event
I agree with you, many people have died there first time trying ecstasy.
But then again there is no one to blame but your self, Your the one who chooses
to do it or not, unless you get something put in your drink or take a drink out of a strangers
but that’s always bad people should know better when taking a drink from a stranger.
I have been to plenty of raves and yes i’ve tried ecstasy more than once. It might be a good
feeling but it isn’t worth bringing pain to your family knowing you can die, I don’t suggest
for anyone to do this or any other type of drug but seriously if you are know your limits.
Listen to your body and don’t push it to the limit…
Ecstasy doesn’t kill people, irresponsible use of ecstasy kills people. Studies performed by the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies and others have shown that a single moderate dose of pure MDMA does not pose any danger. Saying ecstasy kills people is like saying guns kill people.
It is very sad that this girl died, but this probably would not have happened if our youth had access to honest information about reducing the potential harms of drugs. Most likely, all this girl had ever heard was the message “don’t do drugs, they are bad” and so she had no idea what she should do to lessen the risk associated with ecstasy. Just like teens having sex, you can preach abstinence all day, and some kids are still going to have sex. You can preach total drug abstinence and some kids are still going to do drugs. Why not give them the information they need to reduce potential harm? Again, ecstasy doesn’t kill people. Anti-drug crusaders who deprive our youth on the information they need to stay safe kill people.
