Question by Me Drake, you Jane.: What is a cocaine “crash” or “come down” like?
First of all, I am NOT even considering doing it. I am writing a story about a teenage drug user for Teen Ink and I want to as accurate as possible. I want answers from people who have down cocaine, not someone who has studied it. Thanks ahead of time.

At first the high is incredible. You feel as if you’re on top of the world, you’re invincible. Pertaining to your question though, the crash is much worse than a caffeine crash. You suffer from a need, not a desire, to do coke. The withdrawals are horrible and you strive to pack your nose with white gold.
Okay first off there is no huge crash like that and there aren’t any withdrawls. You might get a headache but that’s it. And Cocaine/crack “addiction” is 100% mental not physical. I’m not claiming to be an expert but I do have first hand experience. If you don’t understand what I mean by mental and not physical I’ll compare it to heroin. When you withdrawl from heroin it’s similar to the flu but 100 times worse. You shake, you puke, hot sweats, diarrhea, every joint in your body hurts, insomnia, and extreme muscle cramps…you get the picture. None of that happens when you stop doing cocaine. When you actually do coke and you come off the high I have known people who have gotten into bad moods and grumpy even though I never have. My high always just kind of faded but then I would want to do more as soon as that happened. It’s a want, not a need. I liked the way being on cocaine felt and I liked to do it on a daily basis, multiple times a day but if I didn’t have it I wouldn’t get sick and start puking, which is something that happens when a person does heroin.
