Question by Chloe: What is your opinion on parents that buy alcohol for their teenage kids?
Don’t tell me it does not happen. I hear of many times where parents buy alcohol for their teenage kids and some instances where drinking and smoking and drug use are encouraged. Have you ever done this? I have never and would never, but I hear of many parents who do this.
Not 18 year olds, I mean 14 year olds

i think the idea is sickening and disgraceful
i hate the fact that some parents actually tolerate their kids to drink.. just goes to show that still there are a lot of parents who are irresponsible.. ^^,
they are called submissive. they cant even control their own children so they submit to the demands of their spoiled brats. they are wasting the kids’ lives for them. worthless trash are there really parents like those? i havent encountered one ever. not here in our country.
buying alcohol for their teenage kids is bad because, the kids is still young..
they just want to be close to their kids because so many relationships tend to fall apart while the kids are in the teenage years. i wouldn’t do this but once they’re of age i’ll totally take them to a bar and get hammered with my kids. my parents do that for us, well it started when my oldest brother turned 21…we were all younger but figured it wasn’t fair and continued to beg to be like the oldest until we got our ways…my mother and i will have wine over dinner and my father adn i will have a beer or two while we sit outside and watch storms roll through. if i have plans to go out it’s a whole different ball park.
you’re talking about parents buying booze for their fourteen year olds? girl, call the authorities! that’s just wrong. no wonder the age of parents is decreasing year by year!
Losers, complete and total losers trying to be cool instead of being parents
I would never, but thouse who do should be slaped up side the head and put in jail
I think the drinking age is too high at 21.
I have no problem with 18 year olds drinking.
My daughter had a few parties last summer and I bought her some malt beverages (Smirnoff”s)
I would rather she drink at home than to do like i used to at her age.
I didn’t think anything about driving drunk and I never wrecked the car or got a ticket.
i think parents that do that are stupid. And give them the boot
Irresponsible and illegal.
I think they should be slapped up side the head many times.
My friends parents bought us alcohol sometimes. I do not consider them bad parents. My best friends mom used to buy us beer for drinking at her house, she knew we were going to be drinking regardless and would rather it take place under her roof than in the desert or at the mall or something (where we use to drink before she allowed us to it indoors at her house.) She didn’t let us have crazy parties and she never joined us, “trying to be cool.”
Alcohol is not the concern here, there are some parents who smoke meth with their kids and provide hard illegal substance abuse at their homes for their kids and their kids friends. This is the real travesty, not an innocent act of a couple 17 year olds getting a little drunk in their friends living rooms, compliments of mommy dearest.
I think it is better to know what they are up to than leaving them to do it secretly, but i am only talking about alcohol and cigarettes, and it still sucks, drugs is bad news and should never even be an option. There should be stricter laws against getting married…………it is when youngsters that should still be kids, have kids that things go wrong, because they sometimes still needs guidance themselves, so how can they give it?
