If you can talk to your kids about where babies come from – you can talk to your kids about drugs. Kids whose parents talk to them about drugs are 50% less likely to use drugs. Take the time to talk.
im 13 i know where but my parends dont know I know so theyre trying to tell me soon? i think its far to late for them to tell a 13 years old boy these things?

I have trouble believing this statistic. I’m a teenager, and it doesn’t seem to make much of a difference whether my peers’ parents talk to them about drugs or not- the majority have at least smoked weed. 50% seems like a very unrealisitic number, but I do agree that parents should absolutely talk to their kids about drugs. it potentionally can make the difference between experimentation and hardcore drug use.
OMG i was thinking the exact same thing!!! That’s one of my favorite movies!
“You mean like an easter egg?”
“No, smaller than an easter egg”
“You mean like a robin’s egg?”
LMAO!
Lol, awkward. But no seriously when I’m old enough I’m going to adopt a baby girl so it’d probably be like:
Kid: Mommy, where do babies come from?
Me: They come from a little egg inside a mommy’s stomach.
Kid: How do they get there?
Me: Reproduction.
Kid: What’s repoduction?
Me: Sorry I saved that talk until at least middle school.
Kid: Oh, poo.
Babies omes from the Baby Factory and mom is just inflatu .. inflated.. soon she will go to the hospital to have installed a new thingy to let the air out, and then we pick up your new brother while we are there

i know a kid (freshman in High school) who still thinks they come from the store…
For some reason, that reminds me of that movie Beethoven II where the girl asks her dad that question and he gets all awkward. Lol.

lol i talk to my dad bout drugs alot, andits quite fun to learn.
What an interesting way to make a parent think. Starting these conversations are often the hardest…thanks for reminding me that I’ve done it before.
