Question by Alisha Delucia: Why do a lot of girls hate when their boyfriend does drugs?
I hated when my ex boyfriend smoked weed,. After me & him split, he started taking pills including synthetic heroin. He ended up getting caught & is now going through rehab. I tried smoking & it’s really not bad at all. So I was just wondering why a lot of girls hate weed when they haven’t even tried it.?

Because You Will Eventually Get On Harder Drugs just like your ex and go to jail and rehab and we don’t want to see our loved ones turn into druggys plus its gross and your dumb for trying it.

Some of them have tried it, but have either gotten caught for it or just freakd out and had a bad “high” if you will.
Also, maybe their family doesn’t approve. And, maybe the boyfriend does stupid crap and might get arrested…

I disliked it because I felt he was always putting weed in front of me. Some days we’d be alone and having a good time together and he’d randomly get up and take a hit and I just didn’t understand why. It made me feel unimportant next to weed and kind of hurt.
Becuz somtimes they act differntly. And most of the time the weed comes befor the girl. And alot of people think weed is just a gateway drug to everything else meanin once uve had weed u want to know how everything else is too.

I think higher of myself, I deserve more. I’ve tried dating potheads and 100% of the time they bailed on me for drugs. Its so unattractive and I can have a good time without getting high, several of them can’t. It is an addiction mentally and a drain of money. No ma’am its not for me, but that is a personal choice.
probably because they notice that people are more sluggish when they’re high, and they just aren’t on the same level as them, so its annoying. i could understand getting annoyed with high people if i didn’t know what it actually felt like, and i just saw people acting weird when high
Well, I hate it because I’ve seen how much it hurts people. You just used it to try it, and no in a case like that it isn’t so bad. But I have a very close friend who has severe depression. He is addicted to weed, and if he doesn’t smoke it constantly, he becomes very scary because he starts cutting himself and has panic attacks, which lead to him wanting to kill himself. He can’t live without smoking weed every day. I know not all people are like that, but I can never see weed as a good or OK thing in the face of that. Also, it IS illegal, and if someone gets caught with it, that means trouble. Plus, if your boyfriend has it and gets caught with it while you’re around, you get arrested too.
Also, people act different on weed. Another friend of mine, who is normally very kind and loving, becomes a different person when he’s high. He stops caring about other people’s feelings and can be a big jerk. I hate it.
Because its annoying to be around someone who’s high when your not.
