Question by beautiful bird: Why do celebrities like Lindsay Lohan or Brittney Spears go to rehab?
I don’t believe they have a “drug” problem or “alcohol” problem, they just want to party because they are young and careless. Why do they go to rehab then? To satisfy the public and other people in the business??? It’s not like they are hopeless addicts. That’s why they get out of rehab and are back in the clubs, partying their night away!
Do you honestly think these girls have substance abuse problems??

Yes as with most musicians and celebrities. Hence why today’s musicians and celebrities suck. We need to encourage our musicians to do more drugs because this straight edge EMO S.H.I.T has got to go.

they acually DO have one if they think they need to go to rehab its not like anyone made them go to rehab so if they made the choice THEMSELVES to got then, they must have an addiction

They probably do have some kind of problem but rehab sure doesn’t seem to help them they go right back to their partying ways.

I think they do have those problems but personally deep inside they don’t care cause they’re rich and have the money to afford the habit. They just ‘go to rehab’ as a public stunt cause you have to keep in mind that many young pre-pubescent girls look up to them so they have to keep sorta like a clean image or a clean-up after image.

It is because they are so famous and in the spotlight that every mistake they make and everything they do goes public and everyone starts talking about them (celebrities) and judging them and that makes the celebrities feel hurt and insecure. Thats why some of them turn to alcohol or drugs to ease their pain or they just get depressed and start to lose control on what they are doing so thats why they go to rehab.
People just need to understand that they are human too and need privacy.

They do it because of public, and family pressures, although you may be right in the fact that there are more non celebs who drink more party harder, and handle drug use better then anyone. The difference is we build up celbs to watch them fall, and fall they do because they are human.
Once they become uninteresting there careers are over, so going to rehab is a nice publicity stunt for when they are not in the news.
Also maybe they live the dream of being Aerosmith, who went to rehab, and actually created music after, and their popularity was 10 times higher years after coming out of rehab.

It’s all a publicity stunt. They want attention so they party hard. When they get caught in the news, they say they will go to “rehab”. This is not real rehab. It is a celebrity publicity camp. In a real rehab clinic, you can’t come and go as you please, and it lasts a lot longer than 1 weekend.
They do it for attention and to act as if they are positive role models for “handling” their problem.
They all are ready to head to rehab whenever they are facing criminal charges. It is harder to get them to go to rehab whenever they are just partying and aren’t hurting anyone but themselves (Britney). I think that they are suffer from having too much money at a young age and don’t know what to do with themselves. Personally I think that Lindsay and Britney’s careers are over. They will never be what they once were.
I think they have bigger underlying problem. They are young, and when you are young you do party, and sometimes experiment. I’ve done stupid things in my younger days. The difference is, they do it under a microscope. When I did my first hit of weed, I didn’t wake up the next day saying ‘I’m checking into rehab” Because the general public can’t get enough of these idiots on our tube, we see more and more explicit pictures and videos of them.
I don’t know them so it would be stupid to speculate but boring well-balanced celebrities go unnoticed.
