Question by bobcanmarley: Why does everyone think teens do drugs to be cool?
I do not regret ever starting doing drugs or drinking underage,I dont do hard drugs like meth or cocaine or heroin and i DONT do it to be cool,I love the experiences,they are unforgettable,but weed,alcohol,ambien,oxycotton,shrooms,come on,weed isnt even bad for you.

That is the longest run-on sentence I have seen in awhile.
Honestly, why even do drugs anyway, they offer no benefit. (Exception for Marijuana due to possible medical potential, but ONLY if prescribed.)
im a teen and i do all that to except for the hard drugs like you said, any way back in the day that’s why all the teens were doing it and teens like us usually influence others to do the drugs to
the questions not great and the two other answers i see are a bit inflammatory to responsible marijuana smokers. i hate when people say why even do drugs, i doubt anyone who’s EVER said that has EVER done a drug (and i mean more than once, first experience isn’t always good). so to answer, some kids do use drugs to be cool, some kids use drugs to self medicate emotional problems, some kids use drugs to help them come out of their shell and socialize, some kids use drugs cuz others do (dumbest reason by the way, and i have no respect for it), some kids use drugs to avoid social situations, some kids use drugs because they honestly do just enjoy the experience, some rather mature kids enjoy the high society, hobby and culture of better quality of each drug. almost every kid who does, uses them for more than one reason. im court ordered to stop now, but i smoked habitually for all of high school, and i fit into almost every single category in that list. for a while i did speed and that was purely for the experience (which was amazing). some reasons aren’t too healthy, some are just stupid, some are really neutral. and weed is bad for you, its just not the worst thing ever, just because it can help to treat some medical conditions, doesn’t mean its completely safe and even healthy for any and all use. don’t be stupid.
I think people do it because theres not too much else to do. I don’t think the undersage drinking is a huge deal, but OXYCONTIN(not oxycotton) is some pretty heavy stuff, not really a smart thing to do.
I am glad I didn’t start drug use until I had finished high school. I think I could have gotten caught up in it.
I think it is really funny how everyone does different things. I don’t smoke (anything) and don’t drink. But love my pills, speed and coke. If you can snort it, it is a winner.
But I never did it to be cool. Like you I do it for the kick.
