There is a controversy regarding high-profile people taking cocaine in my country. My friend and I had an argument regarding the long term effects of this illegal substance. I know that the fetus will be affected if the mother is taking cocaine while pregnant but if she has been “clean” for a while—say 2 years, she can have healthy children. My friend on the other hand says that these drugs will still be in the mother’s system despite her being “clean” and her child will be affected. Which do you think is true?

it depends on how much cocaine they took as it can stay in the system for a long time so your both right in a way
