Question by KG: wouldnt the best way to curb binge drinking would be to get teens so drunk?
so drunk they wont want to drink again

No because thats basically what binge drinking is, they get that drunk where they cant drink no more and then do it again after they sober up.

Certainly an interesting idea and maybe in some ways it seems like it will work for a temporary fix, but when I did that back in my college days, I would say the same thing “ugh, I feel horrible, I will never drink again” but the next day I was partying again. There is really no way to stop people from doing it, you can only throw at them the consequences that may happen. Alcohol poisoning, car accidents, and sometimes even fatalities.
NO absolutely not! i was rushed to the ER last year cuz i got alcohol poisening and i still drink, so thats a horrible idea, and yea i know i cant spell so if anythings spelt wrong im illiterate
wow..this makes no sense at all..but okay. drinking is fun anyways-embrace it!
you can’t stop it, its just part of growing up. They did it in the past, we are doing it now and it will continue to be done into the future. And i don’t want to hear people saying its wrong its destroying us blah blah. you all did it so don’t be hypocrites
An interesting idea, but the only way that would work is if you got them so drunk they died of alcohol poisoning. Then they would never drink again.
For the record, I believe binge drinking is wrong in so many ways. Its bad for your body, its wasteful, but most of all it removes the one thing that seperates us from the rest of the animal kingdom – our intelligence. I appreciate my brain too much to drink myself stupid every weekend and purposely dumb myself down in the name of fun. Its not all about fun people, there’s more to life.
